New Moon with the Blood Moon Tarot Page of Skins, Page of Dreams, and The Emperor

I added a new deck to my collection. Welcome the Blood Moon Tarot by Sam Guay. I had to cut them down slightly to make them fit the 4.75 x 2.75 size of my deck. After cutting the whole deck and then selecting ten cards to add to my magpie deck, I shuffled, and out popped three of the Blood Moon Cards.

Page of Skins. In this deck, skins are analogous to wands. This card is about nurturing your curiosity with passion. What change is coming? How does that drive you? How can you embody those fast and fiery ideals? 

Page of Dreams. Dreams replaced swords in this deck. While the RWS Page of Swords shows a readiness (or paranoia), the Page of Dreams again shows curiosity. There is so much to explore! Inside and outside of yourself? What questions do you need to ask (of yourself and others)?

Emperor. Reversed. This emperor is not necessarily about control, like in the standard RWS deck; this card embodies stewardship. The Oak is unmovable, but it also shelters and feeds many other creatures. Since the card is reversed, I think the question is, “How do you get to the point where you can create that foundation for others?

There are so many signs that point to embracing the new. This was pulled during the new moon. These are new cards: pulling 3 of the same deck is rare, but from the new deck? Plus, two Pages ask you to be curious and try new things. What areas of your life could use revitalization? Where do you need to embrace change and the new? What is stopping you? What work needs to be done to build a strong foundation for you and others?
